Each month the Daniel Owen Centre collects Data for the amount of Social Impact we have within our Community.
It is quite outstanding when you see it written down, as it gives you a better idea of how much you are working to make things that little bit better for people you work alongside.
We have Volunteers on a regular basis that give their time to help within their own Communities for nothing in return such as helping with the Cafe, Ticket sales at Bingo each week, events, supporting group activity, ensuring the smooth running of the Charity and the Centre, Warm Hubs and Lunch Club reduced cost meals for all.
Charity Coffee mornings are a great way to raise much needed funds and therefore other Charities use the Centre to raise these funds.
The social Impact up to date is worth £41,852 in hours and hours of the Centre giving out in support through Charitable Room hire, Warm Hubs, reduced food clubs and Voluntary work.
Without these people, it just can't happen. This above amount has saved the Centre in lots of different and crucial costs. That's a fair few hours of dedication!
Take a look here each April to see what the whole year of Social Impact the Centre delivers to you.
